Ready, Flame, Fire!
Ready, Flame, Fire! Everyone has their favorite Skylander, but for me, I cant pick just one! I’ll start with Flameslinger, and I invite you to participate! As I announced, I will be giving away a few Skylanders, and you all have a chance to snag them! All you have to do is comment on this blog, and tell us who your favorite Skylander is, why they are your favorite, and lastly, tell us which element you would choose to add to the current eight elements! After twenty individual comments have been made, I will select the winner! Spread the word, comment now, and cross your fingers!
One of my favorite Skylanders is the elven archer, Flameslinger. His quick and fiery moves are accurate, long-range, and dangerously explosive! Flameslinger loves to show off his talents, and even wears a blindfold to prove it! Having earned his Fiery Bow from a fire spirit at a young age, Flameslinger has mastered the skill of the bow, and when he strikes, he leaves only scorched ground behind him.
If I could select a new element to add to the original eight, it would be Celestial. Benevolent Skylanders, that fight only for the greater good. These skylanders would have no weapons or physical attack. Instead they would focus on the aura of celestial spirits, summoning blasts of astral aura, turning accursed enemies against other enemies, or even firing a wrath of seraphic stars against the enemy, sent from the skies above! Celestial Skylanders could be white or or a gleaming yellow, some may sport halos, some may wear the robes of their benevolent forefathers, or even a glorious winged horse!

My favorite is the Skylander Hex, why? Because she’s kinda a villain only a good one. The other thing I like about her that she’s like the least favorite Skylander of them all (except for Boomer).
A ‘Light’ element would be really cool as a new element. Like some kind of angels or something. The other side of the undead haha.

My favorite Skylander is Ignitor he is pretty quick for his higher armor but you just cant beat a huge flaming sword. I think a Dark Element would be a great edition or Cosmic version.
My Favorite skylander is Stealth Elf. She is the fastest of them all and next to her sentence ‘Silence but deadly’, she can get invisible (sort of), who doesn’t want that?
Another element (inspired on PKmn of course): fight, cosmic aswell btw!
Love Hex aswell btw, for the same reason, everybody loves an underdog right!!
My favorite skylander so far is Prism Break. I like the fact that I can summon crystals and split my energy beam to hit multiple enemies or make it to hit the same enemy with multiple hits. I think a new element that would be good to the series of skylanders would be destruction. Let each character in the element have different major disaster capabilities like earthquakes, tornado, floods, and volcanic eruptions. The character could summon them to spring out of nowhere to do damage.
Okay, here it goes…My fave has got to be Stealth Elf-not only is she fast and great with ranged attacks but…she’s a girl to boot ^_~ As for an additional element, I would go with Metal. They could harden over in say a metallic sorta way to add to the armor stat and perhaps spit out streams of metal to harden up a foe with a DOT effect leaving him out of the battle, say when there are a ton of baddies ganging up on the party?! There could be Titanor and an Ironite Skylander just to name a couple…and they could throw up a metal wall to defend the party from ranged attacks. Wow, the possibilities could be endless ^_~

My favorite Skylander? Most definitely Gill Grunt. I just love the water jet pack and cannon combo. It just feels right. Of course, that’s from the PS3 perspective. On the 3DS I much prefer Hex. she’s just cool looking and has some sweet powers. Plus, I feel that her hover jump handles a bit better than the others.
As for a new element, I really think they covered all their bases on that one. Perhaps an electricity element or something like the aforementioned celestial element, focusing not on the physical attacks but more ranged magic attacks.
This is one of the most fun games I’ve played in a while. Just for the sheer purity of it all. It’s just a fun, goofy RPG with some toy collecting involved. Reminds me a bit of the old Nintendo Game Boy Card Reader, although much more versatile and fun.
My favourite Skylander is Trigger Happy, firstly because he is one of the few my son lets me play :p and well he just LOVES the gems. What girl doesn’t?
We are missing Air and Life Skylanders so I would really love to grab Stealth Elf – man she looks super cool, also on the Air side Lightning Rod seems pretty fun too.

my favorite is gill grunt; he is long ranged which is good, the jetpack is really useful, the water hose is good for taking out multiple weak enemies and spawners, and the anchor is epic.
i would add a sound element. the skylanders would use sound cannons, sound waves/vibrations, and instruments to do damage and hypnotize enemies
While I enjoy Stealth Elf because she is powerful women, Ignitor is my favorite because the use of the sword is really impressive. I am glad I bought the 3DS game because it plays better. By the way, the awesome part in the 3DS game version is that one can actually see the future characters like the Legendary Trigger Happy.
I think I would love to see a Wind element. I understand that we have air but it would be great to half a wind dragon of some kind and tornado character. Maybe I am just dreaming and making no sense.

Gill Grunt is one of my favorite’s. I agree with Trung on the jet packs, water hose and long ranged. It was one on the first one’s my son and I played with and since our collecton is growing I get to use the older ones.
My favorite would have to be Terrafin. It goes back to and OLD skit from Saturday Night Live – “Land Shark”. Seeing Terrafin brings back fond memories of SNL’s early years. (pretty sad reason, I admit)
I like the idea of the Celestial Element. Good thoughts on that one, Caleb.
I’ve only got 6 Skylanders so far, but of the six I have, I would have to say that Flameslinger is my favorite, both because he is an archer, and pyromancer. The range of his bow attacks is excellent at keeping hoards of enemies from hoarding you, and great at wittling down their numbers. As and added bonus to his abilities, if enemies do happen to get to you, if you can make a quick circle with the flame dash, the resulting column of fire makes quick work of the remaining enemies. On a side note, his speed comes in handy when you’re trying to get through a level within the time limit
As for what element I think should be added, it’s hard to choose, since they pretty much covered the basics. Fighting would be a nice edition with melee characters, but there’s only so much they could do with that.
I think if they were to add an element, they’d have to add two, dark and light, because technically, undead is not dark, so if they were to add dark or light, they’d have to balance it out with the opposite. Dark type characters could probably have some attacks that would like, confuse the enemies into attacking their own, or even some shadow manipulating attacks, whereas light, it’d be nice if they had some healing abilities, but then they’d be over powered most likely, so as for attacks, magic based attacks would be good, kind of like holy spells or searing lights
Another thing that would make for an interesting element, Chaos, Skylanders that just love to wreak havoc on anything, and everything, destroying order
My favorite is Sunburn! Can’t wait till he comes out. I’ll spend every bit of my money to get him!
My favorite skylander so far is Double Trouble. Running around with a lit power staff just looking for something to ignite while have 3 mini me’s chasing the first thing they can detonate is fun.
I think some type of radiation element would be a new twist. Characters that would melt, poison or liquify enemies. If they could add bonus to co operative teammates, like whirlwinds healing rainbows could be cool.
Ghost Roaster is my all-time favorite Skylander because if you upgrade him, when you hit enemies, they turn into ghosts and fight on your side. He also turns into a skull which does HUGE damage to enemies.
A new, good, element would be light. You could control the sun or the moon to melt your opponent. A good name for a Light Skylander would be Sunlight or Sunbright.
Hmmm, I guess Spyro because he has been in video games for a LONG time and I love the games he is in. I would pick the Ice element, water might be a little like it, bout still. One could be named Frostbite or Icicle.
A n electric type. My favorite skylander is camo.
Adding to my othercomment. Electric because they would have electricity powers. Camo cause he’s green and he’s a dragon he just looks awesome. Out of context I thought of a new tech skylander stopwatch or clockwork he’s a clock he slows down time shoots gears (like drobot) he has the hands of a clock for hands he uses those to attack.
An other type could be toxic or poison.
I love flameslinger I looked everywhere for him I want to win you people rule. 😀
My favorite element is fire
Drobot is my favorite. He is very fast firing so he is a must to defeat the stronger enemies!
I think this contest is great. My favorite skylsnder is camo. Camo is my favorite because he looks really strong and is very rare to find so he must be somewhat one of the best skylsnders. If there was a new element i would name it the iron element. Skylanders in that element will be very strong
